The last stop on our Grammy Field Trip for today was for burgers. It was on our way home anyway, we drove through the little village just about lunchtime, and GN was getting hungry, so it all worked out perfectly. You know . . . I don’t even know if they serve anything besides burgers.
It’s their burger menu that draws the customers. They name their burgers after baseball terms and chess terms. There are two pages of choices. The burgers are delicious and if you think you’ve dreamed it up, it’s probably already on their menu. I have tried several, but always come back the one in particular. GN seems to be sampling her way through the menu.
It’s a dimly lit bar with a section of tables and booths away from the bar area.
Back home to chores and homework, but it was a refreshing getaway to start our weekend . . . or end the school/work week.

It’s been awhile since I had a truly great burger. I’ve had good ones. I’ve had the go-to (that’s JITB or BK). But the truly fantastic has eluded me for some time now.
