Music in my Purse

I don’t carry any portable music listening device in my purse, but last night, I found music in there anyway.  I was not the one who wrote on the one dollar bill I found, but it made me smile.  I showed it to Goodnight, who promptly asked me for it.  Music is her life, so she says.  Last year it was basketball, but dreams can change.

GN:  It’s a sign, Gram!  I’m supposed to have that dollar bill as a sign.

Gram:  A sign of what, Hon?

GN:  A sign that I am going to do something with my singing.  Will you give me that dollar, please?

My granddaughter took my find as a sign of her future.  I took it as a ‘shopping list’, first.  I went to purchase my interpretation of the word on the dollar bill.  Then I gave the cash and the item I bought to her.

GN:  Thanks, Grammy!  You bought a lot of fabric!  I’m gonna make two pillow cases for my bed!

Whether her dream remains viable or changes tomorrow won’t matter to me.  I’m a dream supporter and for now, the fabric and a dollar bill seem to have been enough.

Awwwwww… Being a dream supporter is a very good job to have. Sweet, musical dreams, GN!

  2. What IS the music? Can it be played?

Dancing: It looks like there is something that can be played. I haven’t tried it yet. The first thing I did was wash the fabric so it’s ready for sewing. When I get the chance, I plan to try playing it to see if I recognize it.
