It doesn’t seem to take much to please my granddaughter sometimes. I love when that genuine innocence comes out.
We were running errands tis morning and we were in the vicinity of a craft store, so we went in to find a project for her to do . . . something good for unwinding after school. She chose the following kit.
When she opened her lip gloss kit to look at everything, she exclaimed, “I get to be a kid again, Gram!”
Her comment made me wonder when she stopped feeling like a kid. I hope it hasn’t been too long, so that she can still hold on to a bit of that feeling.

A telling comment, eh?
Trac: Yup!
Sweet!
We all need to hold onto that feeling. It’s come back to me with my grandson! Jumping in puddles, looking for sticks, building train tracks and zoos and playing pretend games and being a dingle dangle scarecrow with a flippy floppy hat….
Dancing: Oh the puddles! That’s right. So much fun. Do you play Pooh Sticks with him yet? I loved your ‘dingle dangle’ and ‘flippy floppy.’ Says playful right there!
We have several suitable bridges from which we can play Pooh Sticks but I think the best one will be the one shown in a photo in this post

Dancing: I remember that photo! I concur. Perfect spot for Pooh Sticks.
