Over the years, I’ve been rather tied to keeping my photographs in chronological order. As I grow older, however, I like grouping them in similar themes, particularly if they involve family photos.
Two of the brides above made their own wedding dresses. One of the brides above made one of the other wedding dresses above. Not enough is known about the oldest of the wedding dresses to say if it was made by the bride . . . though she sewed very well, too.

Are you one of the brides?
Chrissie: Yup!
Ah .. the one who looks most like Goodnight?
Superb photos.
Dancing: The one who most looks like GN is likely Angel. She is the 4th bride. I am the 3rd. I made my dress and Angel’s.
Ah … now that I have read your next post and also looked at those photos I can see who is who. Angel – what a beautiful young woman and how much her daughter looks like her.
Dancing: They do resemble each other. My next project is to pair GN and Angel in a couple of photos of similar ages. GN will appreciate the similarity as well.
Sounds like a good plan. Last week I sent my son a photo of when he had his second birthday (on account of the fact that Little Man Dancing was 2 on 4 July).
Dancing: Does LMD resemble his dad at that age? What a good thing to do. There are angles from which I view my granddaughter that catch me off-guard for their striking resemblance to her mother. I’m hoping some photo pairs will be able to back that up.
Yes he does resemble him a little – as you say there are angles and looks which make you look twice sometimes, and catch your breath. LMD looks like his Mum too.
I think that the day a photo of my great grandfather fell out of an envelope made me gasp … he was the spitting image of my son.

I’m looking forward to seeing your photo pairs, if you post them. I can see the striking resemblance between your daughter and her daughter. Beautiful girls, both of them (and you looked pretty good too – and your mother – and – well a whole line of good-looking women) I’ve really enjoyed “The White Dress” series.
Dancing: I thought my high school photo was a disaster! It was dumping rain and storming when I went to the photographer’s studio with my mother. I had already done my hair at home – with hair spray. It got completely soaked just from walking from the car to the door. My mother was so wonderfully sweet about the whole thing and very calm.
We’ve been looking at old photographs while visiting with the folks. So many of them don’t indicate who is in the photo. But a few did help us nail down some additional details for our genealogy project.
