Happy May Day!
I was just remembering when the children at GN’s elementary school would work for weeks on making paper flowers and baskets so they could walk the neighborhood near the school and leave flower-filled baskets.
She’s not at that school any more, but I wanted her to remember her participation, so I got her a little something to wear in her hair today.
She loved the flower and the fish braid I put in her hair at 6:00 a.m. this morning.
Whether you wear a flower of any sort or not, whether you receive some flowers, give some away, or not, best wishes on this May Day 2012!
