Can you picture it: sandy beach, sandals, new swimsuit, azure sea, umbrella in some sort of fruity drink, no work for nine days?
Me too!!
But . . . this may be the closest I get to a beach during my Spring break. The cafeteria folks set up this friendly scene this morning in honor of the college Spring Break next week. They even had the Beach Boys playing on the boom box. I just wanted to kick my shoes off and set a spell right there.
Goodnight has school while I’m off so there won’t be any azure sea or sandy beaches for me. I’ve been making a ‘To Do’ List for myself and so far I haven’t even reserved a spot on my list for a fruity drink with an umbrella in it. Gotta fix that.
Did I say nine days with no work? Let me correct myself . . . nine and a half! I’m outta here early!!! I expect to have my shoes kicked off in about twenty minutes from . . . . . . . . NOW!
