I felt a little purple this morning. It’s a regular feeling, I suppose. I received a college alumni magazine from my alma mater and I had completely forgotten that their colors were purple and gold!
I decked myself out for work in a lovely new purple shirt and a new hand-made necklace that was given to me as a gift from one of my blog buddies.
I must say how touched I am by the kindness and generosity of people I’ve met thus far via my blog. I don’t expect a thing – except for good manners, I guess, but I have found the blogosphere to be quite kind for the most part. I’m grateful for that.
Do you know how hard it is to take a lovely photo of a beautiful hand-made gift and not ruin it by including a peculiar wrinkle right next to a double surgical scar in the same vicinity as the necklace?
I won’t say who sent me the thoughtful gift, but when I wear it, I feel like dancing on a blade of grass. 
And if that sweet person wants to leave a comment to give away their identity, that’s fine with me.
I’m “in the pink” in my purple today! (Have to get it out of my system before I head to Indianapolis where I will inundated with blue and white this weekend.

Beautiful necklace. I’m eagerly awaiting your report of trip to scarf-land. I have a super busy weekend coming up so don’t know if I’ll be able to catch anything or anyone on TV. What time is the game?
C: Game time is 1:00 EST, so noon here. Not sure if it will be televised locally. Colts play Cleveland. Pre-game festivities before that. Enjoy your super busy weekend. I will be offline most of the weekend. The hotel has a business center that I may pop into, but I’m not carrying a computer!
It’s a good thing you went through your purple phase last year so you have quite the selection of purple garments when this feeling comes on.
